Evaluation of water quality from artesian wells in the urban area of Lucas do Rio Verde - MT

The use of water from wells is a necessity in urban and rural areas, depending on population development the lack quick effective distribution. Thus, this research aimed to evaluate quality artesian located municipality Lucas do Rio Verde - MT. In methodology, microbiological analysis was carried out physical-chemical parameters samples were evaluated, collected distributed area ​​the city without access sewage treatment network. results showed that 70% contaminated by total thermotolerant coliforms presence Escherichia coli, addition irregularities physicochemical analyses. It found areas under study had incorrect infrastructure collection wells, drilled environments considered inappropriate proper maintenance.
